Suffolk police say the investigation remains active into the killing of a Rocky Point man exactly six months ago, with the suspect still at large.
Matthew Zoll is wanted in connection with the Nov. 9 fatal stabbing of his father, Joseph Zoll, who was found with multiple stab wounds at their home on Quail Road in Rocky Point.
Zoll, 23 at the time, then crashed a black GMC Yukon SUV at the intersection of 25A and the William Floyd Parkway in Shoreham at about 1:35 a.m. and was injured, police said. Officers and K-9 units searched the area but were unable to locate him.
Detectives on Friday, May 9, said the investigation is ongoing.

Zoll is described as white, 6 feet 1 inch tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a scar under his left eye. According to a November report by the New York Post, Zoll has schizophrenia and had previously gone missing after discontinuing his medication.
Joseph Zoll was a U.S.P.S. carrier in Riverhead since 2014. He previously worked for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. He has three other children — a son and two daughters, according to prior Greater Long Island reports.
