The economy, international relations and the 2024 election.
The big topics will be on the table when former U.S. Vice President and Indiana governor Mike Pence speaks with Long Island Association members at the nonprofit’s annual Fall Luncheon on Oct. 29 in Nassau County.
The announcement of Pence’s arrival on Long Island a week before Election Day was made yesterday. The exact venue has not been made public, but both members and non-members can click here to purchase tickets.
“It is my privilege to meet with the Long Island business community at this prestigious event held by the Long Island Association,” Pence said in a statement. “Our national economy and free market system depend upon business leaders such as those in the Long Island Association, and I look forward to discussing issues that are important to them.”
The Long Island Association is a not-for-profit and non-partisan business organization.
The group’s tagline is “Long Island’s Future is our Business.”
Long Island Association president and CEO Matt Cohen will moderate what’s being billed as a wide-ranging conversation with Pence, whose parents were small business owners in Indiana, where he was born.
