No hot dog list for Long Island would be complete without mention of the international hot dog powerhouse, Nathan’s Famous.
Sure, the dogs from Coney Island are now ubiquitous, available in nearly every supermarket, and some great Nathan’s restaurants have opened and closed over the decades (Commack, Westbury, to name a few).
People still love enjoying them out, though, and all that nostalgia.
If you’re looking for crinkle cut fries to eat with a tiny fork out of a paper boat, and a dog that will never disappoint, then the new Nathan’s at The Arches outlets in Deer Park is a clean, big space to bring it back.
Despite some chain restaurants doing take-out only due to COVID-19 policies, the Deer Park Nathan’s does offer dine-in services.
