Patchogue chamber unveils brand-new website; launch party tonight

|

The Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce has just launched a website they believe will be a huge benefit to members — and a resource for visitors looking to explore everything that’s happening in the bustling Patchogue area.

The new patchogue.com went live this week.

“This is certainly the best chamber website that we’ve ever had,” the chamber’s executive director, David Kennedy, told GreaterPatchogue.com (no relation). “It’s modern and easy to use, and very easy to find all the information you need to know about the chamber and the Grater Patchogue community.”

The site was conceived and built by Driven Digital of Bohemia.

There’s a launch party planned for tonight, June 21, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the new Museum of Contemporary Art, formerly the Patchogue Arts Council gallery space that’s within the ArtSpace Lofts tower at 20 Terry Street in the village.

The launch party also celebrates the Arts Council’s new site, and the annual Discover Patchogue magazine that hit local shops and other points of interest this month.

“Everyone is invited,” said Kennedy. “And of course we’re looking to get everybody psyched and ready for the Arts on Terry festival happening this Sunday.”

As for the chamber site’s benefits, Driven Digital owner and project manager Andrew Hart said members will have the capabilities to login and customize their own business profile pages.

“They can go in and update their own information, update their address, pay their dues, add photos, videos and links — and basically claim their profile,” he said.

[Hart encourages anyone who needs help to email andrew@drivendigital.co.]

“But the coolest thing is how dynamic the calendar is going to be,” he continued, “and as we on-board more and more events, we’ll be able to filter it by more and more categories, such as kid-friendly, free, music events, dining, retail specials or retail events.”

“I love the site,” Hart said of the finished work. “It came out awesome.”

“Andrew Hart and his team at Driven Digital have been exceptional to work with,” said Kennedy. “We’re proud that they’re members of ours, and very thankful for all the hard work they’ve put into making this site as great as it is, and will continue to be.”
