Blue Point Brewery set to host first Summer Friday party in Patchogue

|

Summer Fridays at the office might mean wearing shorts and leaving early.

But at Blue Point Brewery in Patchogue, it’s about craft beer outdoors, live music, food and backyard games.

The first-ever Summer Friday at Blue Point runs from 3-10 p.m. on July 26, the brewery announced this week.

The party will be happening in the east parking lot.

“There will be live music from local favorites and a headline performance by New Politics,” reads the announcement. “Guests will be invited to play backyard games for chances to win free pints, swag, and more!

“There is also a rumor that the beach will make an appearance, so bring your sunscreen, sunglasses.” (We have no idea what this means.)

The event is free and open to all ages. Entry is allowed until it reaches capacity. It’s 21+ to drink. Beer is available with tokens at $6 each.

There’s parking available in the west lot, until capacity, with overflow parking behind the Bargain Bilge building to the east, and River Ave Elementary School to the south.

Blue Point Brewing Co. is located at 225 West Main Street in Patchogue. This is a one-time event for the summer of 2019.
