Six mistakes I’ve made in the garden that stunted growth

|

3. CHEAPING OUT ON HARDWARE

Get yourself a good quality nozzle that has various stream settings, including a gentle mist option for when plants are still very young and fragile. A backup hose is also a smart idea, because they burst. It’s your most important tool. Depending on how big your garden is, prepare for wear and tear.

4. TREATING WOOD

Toxic chemicals in wood can leach into soil, which will then contaminate the plant food and, ultimately, contaminate your food. Keep your food clean! Don’t paint or stain your wood.
