The Tap Room lands in the Top 10 in Pulse Magazine’s Great Burger Battle

Patchogue’s Tap Room was announced Thursday as one of the 10 finalists in Long Island Pulse Magazine’s Great Burger Battle.

Patties and buns & more from West Main Street will be competing against nine other restaurants from across Long Island Aug. 14 in Patchogue’s Shorefront Park.

“We actually just launched a menu today [Thursday] for Alive After Five,” said Tap Room co-ownerJames Bonanno.

“We’ve been fine-tuning our burger over the past few moths and we’re really excited to showcase it at the Long Island Pulse Great Burger Battle.”

The first three rounds of the Long Island-wide battle royalé took place online.

Pulse, which is based in Patchogue Village, started the first round of voting with 50 restaurants and narrowed it down to 25 in the second round.

More than 2,500 votes were cast from the second to third round.
