Kilwins ChocolatesĀ and Patchogue-Medford Library also ran ice cream-eating contests for kids in the family section at Capital One Plaza.

The second Alive After Five of summer is Thursday, July 21.

Riverhead is hosting a sister festival called Alive on 25Ā next Thursday, July 14, in its downtown.
