The folks at Blue Point Brewery in Patchogue are encouraging craft beer lovers to dress up like lumberjacks for the first-ever Logger Lager festival on Saturday, Oct. 29, in Patchogue.

Logger Lager is inspired by Blue Point’s flagship Toasted Lager brew, and the festival will showcase lagers from across New York and at Blue Point.

So, what’s a lumberjack wear?

To the one person who might not know, Blue Point breaks it down in its event notice:

“Think flannel, beards and hats.”

The event will run from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the brewery’s back boatyard at 161 River Avenue in Patchogue.
