20 Photos from a packed Chili & Chowder Festival in Patchogue Village

|

There was chili, chowder and pumpkin beer being offered up and down Main Street in Patchogue Village for Saturday’s Chili & Chowder Festival.

But those who headed downtown also found the streets lined with vendors, food tucks, children and Gateway Haunted Playhouse actors in costume — even Patchogue firefighters running fire safety and prevention activities on South Ocean Avenue.

David Kennedy, the executive director of the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, which organized the festival, led the children’s parade down Main Street at 2 p.m.

Patchogue Village officials were also found handing out village-branded reusable bags to residents.
