Many gathered at the Stony Brook Village Center’s Educational and Cultural Center for Sunday’s Festival of Lights celebration.

The event, organized by the Ward Melville Heritage Organization, saw performances by the Nartan Rang Dance Academy of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Tamil Academy with its drumming show, and food tastings partially sponsored by the Curry Club.
