SoBol acai bowls franchise wins approval from Babylon Village

|

The Babylon Village Board this week approved plans for a SoBol (formerly known as Long Island Super Bowls) franchise at 21 Cooper Street.

“To all the Babylon residents that have welcomed us and have been waiting patiently, we are almost there!” said Daneen Colombo, speaking on behalf of herself and co-owner Laura Duncan.

The women said they welcome anyone who’s passing by to check out the progress at the former Subway sandwich shop.

“We would love to meet all the people in the community,” Colombo said.

Long Island Super Bowls, the island’s seminal acai bowl franchise, started six years ago in Sayville and expanded to Patchogue in 2016 before the launch of a franchise operation.
