25 photos from the annual St. Baldrick’s fundraiser at Fulton’s Gate

|

Hair was hitting the floor all Saturday afternoon inside Fulton’s Gate in Patchogue for the Irish pub’s sixth annual St. Baldrick’s Day fundraiser to fight childhood cancer.

Thousands of dollars was raised — the final tally isn’t yet in — as participants lobbied friends, family and co-workers to pledge money for that person to get his or her head shaved.

“It was a great day,” said James Gilroy, owner of Fulton’s.

Head shaving was done by Kristine Murillo of Fedora Lounge Boutique Hair Salon and Hair Replacement Studio of Port Jefferson. Those who didn’t go bald had the option of getting green hair extensions.
