Thousands of people braved the cold Sunday to celebrate the long-awaited return of the Miller Place-Rocky Point St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
This year marked the 70th annual, nearly three-mile long parade, which included bagpipe and marching bands, vintage cars, local fire departments, community organizations and musical performances.
Former parade grand marshals were honorary grand marshals of the 2022 parade.
Starting in Miller Place at the corner of Route 25A and Harrison Avenue, marchers proceeded down North Country Road to Rocky Point.
