Babylon Rotary Club recently celebrated its 40th anniversary with a party and installation dinner earlier this month at Michael Simon’s Bay House.

It was a big year for the club.
In addition to the service projects the club is locally known for (too many to list here), members also ran a successful event called Babylon Ends Hunger, where they packaged a total of 90,000 nutritious meals to be distributed to 14 local food pantries.
The Rotary also gave to the less fortunate in Haiti through Friars Suppliers.
These events were each held at the First Presbyterian Church and we were assisted by Neighbors Helping Neighbors and the Babylon Lions Club and brought together over 300 volunteers at each event.
“I would say all in all it was a very successful year and I am truly humbled to have been able to lead this group of wonderful leaders in our community,” said past president Megan Noble.
