Six great new shops that have opened this year in Port Jefferson

Aside from the much-anticipated launch of GreaterPortJeff, there have been several new developments in and around the village in 2017. 

Of those, here are six new retail shops that opened since January:

BiblioFlames

218 East Main Street

Also an Etsy shop, BiblioFlames sells literary-inspired candles to set the mood as you cozy up with your favorite book. The candles are vegan soy wax and are available in scents such as Cozy Bookshop, which smells like a cup of joe and a library of books; A Well-Stocked Brain Attic that is inspired by Shakespeare and smells of leather and pipe tobacco; and Patient & True Common Room that stirs up scents from a wizarding kitchen in the Hogwart’s house of Hufflepuff from J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter novels.

BiblioFlames also sells throw pillows and mugs if you really want to set the scene.
