Crime Stoppers: Police search for alleged Kohl’s Rocky Point shoplifter

Suffolk Police are asking for the public’s help and offering a cash reward for help identifying an older man who allegedly stole $150 worth of merchandise from Kohl’s in Rocky Point last month.

Pictured above (and below), the man was described only as white, with gray hair and glasses. The goods went missing from the department store at 346 Route 25A on Dec. 14, at about 5:40 p.m, the same time this video footage was taken.

The alleged shopflifted fled on a bicycle. Anyone with information should contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
