Every third Monday of each month starting Aug. 21, Hoptron Brewtique in Patchogue will be playing host to “Craft Beer Stories Presents” nights for local brewers and breweries to share their stories.
“What stories do the brewers and the breweries want to tell? The best was to do this is to have a brewery come down, present four beers and talk about the ingredients, the processes, what they’re doing different, what they’re really digging,” said Hoptron owner Amanda Danielsen.
“… what people really want to know when they’re drinking beer.”
Danielsen describes the concept as a bit more hands-on than Hoptron’s popular Flight Nights.
Tickets are available on Eventbrite for $25. Hoptron will otherwise be closed to the public to allow the beer die-hards to dig a bit deeper into the process. The kickoff event will feature the folks from Moustache Brewing Co. in Riverhead and will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
“It’s a little bit “Meet the Brewer,” a little “Beer 101,”and a little ‘Let’s just all get together and get a little crazy in the name of education,'” Danielsen says. “because we all want to be educated consumers, but we also want a nice buzz, too.
Ticket will include Guided Flight, two pints of brewery beer and unlimited popcorn.
“And of course there will be some fun little extras being shared!”
