Gateway’s Haunted Playhouse returns for 2017 this weekend in Bellport Village

|

One of the country’s most renowned haunted houses, Gateway’s Haunted Playhouse, is all set for 2017 in Bellport.

The scares start up again this Friday, Sept. 22, at The Gateway off South Country Road and continue through Nov. 4 — for those looking to extend their Halloweekends.

“Dozens of professionally trained actors prepare and rehearse each character that inhabits the haunt, giving it a unique, theatrical quality unrivaled on the island,” reads a Gateway announcement issues this week. “These actors inhabit a carefully crafted, three-dimensional environment created and built by the Gateway’s renowned design and production team.

“Over 100 people are on hand every evening to ensure the smooth operation of each haunt.”

Gateway’s Haunted Playhouse is not recommended for children under 13 years old.
