Toast Coffeehouse is now opening at night for private parties in Patchogue

|

For the first time since opening in December 2015, the popular breakfast and lunch spot Toast Coffeehouse will be abuzz at night in Patchogue.

But it’s not because they’re opening for dinner service; ownership recently launched Toast Coffeehouse Events, and is making the large space available for private parties.

“It’s hard to find a restaurant that doesn’t have a private room that will give you the restaurant on a Friday or Saturday night,” said Linda Shapiro, Toast’s catering and event coordinator.

“But we have this restaurant,” which seats up to 130 in Patchogue, she said.

Toast is also offering off-site catering.

“We have dinner menus, fondue, tapas,” said Shapiro. “We want people to know we’re so much more than great breakfast … We could do barbecue in your backyard if you wanted.”

To help all that along, Toast Coffeehouse will be hosting a catering showcase event on Thursday, March 1, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 46 East Main Street in Patchogue.

The space will be set up for a party with free food samples.

“It’s got such a cool vibe, you could even do a wedding there, so we’re looking to attract people who might be thinking about planning something soon,” Shapiro said.

The Bay Shore Toast Coffeehouse, which is still in the works, will also be available. Toast Coffeehouse closes at 3 p.m. on weekdays and 3:30 p.m. on weekends.

Parties could start as early as 6 p.m. Anyone interested should submit inquiries here.
