Photos: Tour the new Village Walk Senior Living complex in Patchogue

|

It’s been called a cruise ship on land.

And for good reason.

The city-like Village Walk Senior Living reaches five stories at some points, and features a bistro, pub, restaurant, cinema space, internet café, fitness facilities, an art studio and more.

There’s even an observation deck with views of Fire Island and the Great South Bay.

The new complex, which began accepting residents in January, consists of 128 apartments, which includes 46 units for those with alzheimer’s and other dementia diseases.

They also offer 24/7 nursing care. Located at 131 East Main Street, this is Suffolk’s only assisted living center to be built in a downtown setting.
