Seven student-athletes from Babylon Junior-Senior High School were recently recognized for signing letters of intent to continue to play sports in college next fall.
“These students are shining examples of what the Babylon athletic community represents,” said Superintendent Linda Rozzi.
The seven athletes got together recently to be recognized by coaches, administrators and their families.
Below are their names, future colleges and the sports they’ll be playing.

Amanda Guerra (Hofstra University/lacrosse)
Olivia Maldonado (Manhattan College/soccer)
Madeline Peplinski (College of the Holy Cross/lacrosse)
Joseph Rende (University of Rochester/baseball)
Allie Stanya (Queens College/softball)
Kyle Viti (Pace University/lacrosse).
