The anticipated opening of The Brewers Collective brewery and tasting room in Bay Shore happens this Friday, March 3. The tasting room will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, then again from from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 4.
The Brewers Collective will be hosting a grand opening bash on April 15, and will be offering Sunday hours after that — with a possible expansion into Thursdays.
The new brewery at 1460 North Clinton Avenue, Unit C, uses a three-barrel electric system. The tasting room features a bar and 12 tap lines, as well as a cask ale, with plenty of room for standing and sipping. The project has been about two years in the making.
