High school principal creates touching video honoring Connetquot seniors

|

Connetquot High School’s principal has posted a touching video on YouTube that features 39 smiling members of this year’s graduating class.

Thirty-six of the subjects in Michael Moran’s two-minute piece are proudly wearing clothes or holding paraphernalia that suggest where they’re attending college — Brown, Hofstra, Penn State and Connecticut among the destinations.

A female grad shows off acceptance letters from five higher education institutions, seemingly indicating she’s still undecided. Another student simply holds a sign the reads “undecided.” The soon-to-be graduates included a student holding a U.S. Marine Corps pamphlet and wearing a T-shirt with the Marines emblem.
