Connetquot High School’s principal has posted a touching video on YouTube that features 39 smiling members of this year’s graduating class.
Thirty-six of the subjects in Michael Moran’s two-minute piece are proudly wearing clothes or holding paraphernalia that suggest where they’re attending college — Brown, Hofstra, Penn State and Connecticut among the destinations.
A female grad shows off acceptance letters from five higher education institutions, seemingly indicating she’s still undecided. Another student simply holds a sign the reads “undecided.” The soon-to-be graduates included a student holding a U.S. Marine Corps pamphlet and wearing a T-shirt with the Marines emblem.

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. New York schools are closed until at least May 15, under a state executive order. Gov. Andrew Cuomo is expected to make a decision this week on whether schools will re-open before the end of the academic year.
