The “SteamRolla” is back.

Huntington’s Matt Frevola (8-2-1, 2-2-1 UFC) returns to the octagon Saturday for UFC 263 at Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

The lightweight will be facing off against UFC newcomer Terrance McKinney (10-3, 0-0 UFC) on the early preliminary card, which will begin streaming on ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass at 6:30 p.m.

The Harborfields High School grad is looking to rebound after his UFC two-win streak came to an end at UFC 257 in January. Frevola lost by unanimous decision to Arman Tsarukyan, the No. 15 ranked lightweight in the UFC.

His next opponent, McKinney, will be making his UFC debut on short notice — he’s replacing Frank Camacho, who was forced off the card due to a car accident.

the card

Here are some of highlights of the main card:

  • The main event is a middleweight title match between champion Israel Adesanya (20-1) and Marvin Vettori (17-4-1). This is a rematch bout between the two. Adesanya won by way of a split decision in 2018.
  • The co-main event is a flyweight title fight between Deiveson Figueiredo (20-1-1) and Brandon Moreno (18-5-2). This is also a rematch fight, where the first fight was scored a majority draw this past December. That match was called the “greatest fight in the history of the flyweight division,” by UFC president Dana White.
