A new Tap Room location is in the works on Long Island.
Co-owner James Bonanno told GreaterPatchogue that his team is opening the restaurant’s fourth location in Rockville Centre.
It’s being launched at 47-51 N. Village Ave. — the spot that last housed Arooga’s — sometime this fall.
For the uninitiated, the vibe of Tap Room is a casual atmosphere with a late-night kitchen and a wide beer selection.
Bonanno founded The Tap Room in Patchogue back in 2011. He and his team later expanded the brand to Massapequa Park (2015) and then to Bay Shore (2019).
Bonanno is joined in RVC by Patchogue co-founder David Johnson, as well as partners Kevin Boyle and Steve Cubells.
“We loved the community feel of Rockville Centre that aligns with our other locations,” said Bonanno. “It’s a great hub for dining and nightlife and we are excited to now be a part of it.”
