A hotel employee at the Hyatt Regency Long Island in Hauppauge fell to his death from a high-story window at the building last night.
Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of David Lerner, 41, who was working on the clock at 7:30 pm. when he fell from an upper floor window to the ground, cops said.
Lerner of Holbrook was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is investigating the incident at the hotel, located at 1717 Motor Parkway. Detectives ask that anyone with information on the incident to call the Homicide Squad at 631.852.6392.
