After a short run in Wading River, the spiritual healing and crystals gift shop Breathe has closed and moved its inventory to the company’s Main Street location in Port Jefferson.
Breathe set up shop last August in Wading River Square on Route 25A — near Phil’s restaurant and Pizzo Ristorante — after closing the store it had operated in downtown Riverhead in 2021.
Management has a sign posted on the Wading River storefront with notification of the move to the store at 115 E. Main Street in Port Jefferson, and store display cases are listed for sale on the business’ Facebook page.
Breathe owner Jena Turner opened her first shop nearly 18 years ago in Port Jefferson. She started a store in Bay Shore in 2018, and also operates a location in Oyster Bay. In 2022, she opened a shop in San Antonio, Texas. Her gift shop and spiritual and emotional healing centers offer classes for meditation, Tarot readings, writing workshops, Rieki, and yoga.
