Roslyn, Huntington, West Islip
Long Island’s highly acclaimed Besito Mexican restaurants will be celebrating El Dia de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead) on Friday, Nov. 1, and Saturday, Nov. 2., and everyone is invited.
The Besito family will ensure a traditional Dia de los Muertos experience as they don authentic sugar skull or “Calaca Style” face paint [starting at 4 p.m. both days] and educate guests on the holiday and create a magical experience for diners.
Come to enjoy or come to honor your own loved ones during this beloved holiday celebration. Customary “ofrendas” or altars and traditional décor will also be displayed within the restaurants to honor beloved ancestors, friends, and family.
As part of the celebration, Besito Mexican’s culinary team will be serving one special-edition entrée, created specifically for the “Day of the Dead”. Guests can enjoy the Pescado al Pastor, which features pan seared pastor marinated Bronzino filet, pineapple and cabbage salad, with a freshly made roasted tomatillo and serrano sauce.
