Get ready to be inspired.

Olympic swimming legend Katie Ledecky is headed to the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts for an evening of stories, conversation and motivation.

As part of the Tilles Center Speaker Series on the campus of LIU Post, the 28-year-old will take the stage Dec. 2 for An Evening with Katie Ledecky — a moderated discussion about her record-breaking career and passion for healthy living.

In addition to being the most decorated American woman in Olympic history, with 14 medals (nine gold, four silver and one bronze), Ledecky also serves as Catholic Health’s health and wellness ambassador.

“This is a great setting for inspiring and thoughtful dialogue,” Tom Dunne, executive and artistic director of the Tilles Center, told Greater Long Island. “Katie is someone we are honored to host.”

The event will mark the first time an Olympic gold medalist headlines a talk at the Tilles Center.

Dunne said Ledecky will share stories from her Olympic experiences, discuss the mindset that helped her achieve greatness and offer insights into what fuels her passion today.

The conversation will be moderated by veteran NBC sportscaster Bruce Beck.

Tickets are available now for Tilles Center members and go on sale to the public Friday, Sept. 12.
