Brunch is about to get an upgrade in Babylon Village.
Millie’s Mimosa House & Eatery is opening this week at 94 E. Main St., and Greater Long Island got a sneak peek inside the new space ahead of its debut.
The former Don Ricardo’s location has been completely reimagined into a light, airy restaurant designed to feel like a taste of the French Riviera, with a brunch menu to match.
Owner Robert Mathews said the goal is simple: to create “an elevated brunch experience that feels both refined and welcoming.”

Craft cocktails and an elevated menu
At Millie’s, mimosas aren’t just an add-on — they’re the star. Guests will find fresh-pressed juices, specialty coffees, and sparkling cocktails crafted with premium champagne and wine.
“Brunch without mimosas is just, sadly, breakfast,” Mathews said with a laugh.
The menu leans into chef-driven brunch favorites, using high-quality, thoughtfully sourced ingredients. From classic dishes with a French twist to more adventurous options, Mathews promises “that high-end flair” he honed while working in fine French restaurants from Manhattan to the East End.
