Garden City native Ava Nat has secured her spot in the Knockout Round of NBC’s “The Voice” after an impressive performance Monday Night in the competition’s Battle Rounds.
The 18-year-old singer — a freshman studying commercial music at Belmont University in Nashville — continues to captivate audiences with her powerful vocals and emotional delivery.
During the Battle Rounds, Ava Nat faced off against fellow contestant Aiden Ross in a heartfelt duet of “What a Time” by Julia Michaels and Niall Horan. The performance showcased their vocal chemistry and emotional connection, earning praise from the coaches.
Following the battle, Coach Niall Horan named Ross the winner, but he exercised his “save” to keep Nat in the competition.
Ava’s star power is on the rise
Nat first gained attention during the Blind Auditions with her rendition of Gracie Abrams’ “I Love You, I’m Sorry,” which resulted in three chair turns and a spot on Team Niall. Her ability to convey vulnerability and authenticity through her music has made her a standout contestant this season.
As she progresses to the Knockout Round, Nat remains a strong contender on “The Voice.”
