Sayville is getting another chance to experience one of Long Island’s most buzzed-about dining events.
Chef Eric LeVine — the award-winning restaurateur behind 317 Main Street, Vico, and The James Room — is reviving Flour and Grain, his secretive, limited-seating pasta pop-up, for three nights only: Dec. 4, 5 and 6.
The dinners return to Brownstones Coffee in Sayville, transforming the daytime breakfast-and-brunch spot into an intimate, after-hours restaurant once the doors close for the evening.
“It’s authentic, handcrafted pasta,” said LeVine, who lives in Sayville. “There aren’t many restaurants making pasta like this by hand. You can taste the difference.”
LeVine first launched Flour and Grain in September, drawing huge crowds and selling out two nights within hours. The menu featured house-made bucatini, wild mushroom ravioli, cacio e pepe spaghetti, tortelloni, flatbreads, roast chicken with polenta, and more — all meticulously prepared using fresh dough and classic techniques.
The December edition will bring back several favorites, along with a few seasonal additions the chef is keeping under wraps.
Like the first run, seating will be extremely limited. The September debut accommodated roughly 100–160 guests per night. LeVine expects December to book even faster.
