Now imagine that happening five times every Friday at every Gala Foods supermarket across Long Island. It’s called Free Five Fridays, and the popular December promotion has become a holiday tradition at Gala Foods.
“Every Friday in December, five lucky customers are randomly selected to receive their groceries for free,” a Gala Foods spokesperson told Greater Long Island. “There is no registration or enrollment required to win.”
The giveaway runs at all seven Gala Foods locations on Long Island, including Bay Shore, Brentwood (two locations), Freeport (two locations), East Patchogue and Centereach. (The max payout is $200.)
The Centereach store, the newest addition to the Gala Foods family, opened just this past September.
