A look at Daisy’s Nashville Lounge, newly opened in Patchogue

|

A piece of Nashville, Tenn. has made its way on down to Patchogue’s Main Street.

Longtime friends and business partners Brian Adams and Tim McCarthy recently opened Daisy’s Nashville Lounge in the former Hoptron Brewtique craft beer bar this month.

The owners are currently running on a soft-opening basis with plans for a grand opening soon.

The Southern-inspired country club offers a honky-tonk atmosphere with its rustic decor, Down South-influenced cocktail and food menus, and its country tunes playing throughout the bar.

McCarthy, who owns the longstanding Centereach bar McCarthy’s Pub, has longed to open this type of establishment on Long Island.

“I had this idea for a while,” said McCarthy on opening Daisy’s in Patchogue. “When I saw this spot I knew right away; there’s a great vibe here.”

When creating the space, the two partners visited Nashville several times to build out their vision on Long Island.

Hence the booth seating lined with velvet material, the massive painting of legendary singer Johnny Cash on a brick wall, and a dedicated area for live musical acts.

“We’re bringing in bands country and rock ‘n’ roll from Nashville,” said McCarthy. “It’s going to be great.”

There’s also a lounge area that will be used for private parties and events.

As far as the grub goes, it’s a light tavern fare. Think pulled pork sandwiches, chicken wings, and nachos.

One of the go-to items since opening has been Daisy’s Hot Nashville Chicken Sandwich.

“It’s got a nice spice to it,” McCarthy told GreaterPatchogue while describing the chicken sandwich that is served with a hot Nashville sauce, coleslaw, pickles and tortilla chips on brioche bread.
