A look at Stony Brook’s newest crepe and bubble tea shop

|

Arnor Crepes & Bubble Tea isn’t serving up traditional crepes.

They’re made with a “lighter batter” and are “crunchier,” the owners of the new Stony Brook eatery told GreaterPortJeff.

Owners Teresa Yeung and Tony Pang brought this style of crepe cooking to Stony Brook this June.

They did so after opening their first restaurant of the same name in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, they decided to add another location east.

“We came out here two years ago because we saw this opportunity,” Yeung said. “We’ve gotten great reviews so far and it’s the perfect location for college kids.”

The new venture is located in the new Stony Brook Square development at 1113 North Country Road, near Druthers’ Coffee, and next to The Bench.

For their creations, Arnor combines traditional Taiwanese tastes with American styles. That’s how you get crepe options with prosciutto, mozzarella, arugula and pesto, or BLT.

They also offer bubble teas, slushies and milkshakes with a variety of toppings.

With its proximity to Stony Brook University, it makes it a great hangout for people looking for a quick bite.

“A lot of kids from the Stony Brook School come here,” Yeung said. “We’re very excited.”
