Adventureland is getting two tigers for its 65th birthday.
The Tigers Den Family Roller Coaster and Flying Tigers will debut at the Farmingdale amusement park for its 2027 season.
The coaster will feature more than 300 feet of track and reach a top speed of 16 mph. Flying Tigers will carry riders in circles aboard vehicles modeled after the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk airplanes flown by the Flying Tigers during World War II.
โNew additions to the park represent our ongoing commitment to creating memorable experiences for guests of all ages while continuing to invest in the future of Long Islandโs favorite family amusement park,โ said Adventureland Manager Jeanine Pacella.

The rides will be part of Legacy Corner, a redevelopment project that began in 2024. The area also includes the Ram Pirat Ship and Wave Twister, which opened in 2026, along with new food stands, game areas and other amenities.
While two rides are coming, a longtime attraction has reached the end of the road. The Antique Cars, part of Adventureland in various forms since 1965, have been retired.
The changes will bring the parkโs total to 29 rides when construction is complete in 2027.
โWe look forward to welcoming families back to the park in 2027 to celebrate this special milestone with us,โ Pacella said.
The season begins in late March.
