Suffolk Police are advising residents and visitors to the North Shore of road closures this Sunday for the longest-stretch of St. Patrick’s Parade marching on the island.

The 69th Annual Miller Place-Rocky Point St. Patrick’s Day Parade starts at 1 p.m. The road closures in the area still start between 12 p.m. and run to around 3:30 p.m.

Route 25A between Miller Place Road in Miller Place to just east of Broadway Avenue in Rocky Point will be closed to vehicular traffic starting at noon.

In addition to regulating traffic, the police department will be enforcing Brookhaven Town ordinances and state laws regarding the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages.

Violations may result in a fine of up to $250 or up to 15 days in jail.
