Alice’s Sport Bar takes over Hurricane Wings in Port Jeff Station

|

After owning the Hurricane Grill & Wings location in Port Jefferson Station for some 18 months, partners Kim Saccoccio and Ronnie Turelli are rebranding the franchise to a privately-owned sports bar called Alice’s.

Turelli told Greater Long Island that in early December the duo decided to part ways with their Hurricane’s contract after purchasing it from its previous owner in July 2023.

Since then, they have been slowly updating the former wing spot, located at 1037 Patchogue Road in Three Roads Plaza, into Alice’s Sport Bar Eatery.

Named after Saccoccio’s late mother, Alice, who died tragically in 2021, Turelli said that the restaurant is currently undergoing a complete revamp from the inside dining area to the menu.

“People can expect better quality,” he said, noting that they plan on updating the menu to offer more than just wings.“We’ve been known as a wing place, but we’re going to bring much more.”

As of right now, the restaurant has been in a soft opening mode while they slowly transition into Alice’s completely. The new sports bar should be fully operating in early February, Turelli said.

Hurricane Grill & Wings, a Florida-founded chain, still has locations in Manorville, Lindenhurst and Hauppauge.
