Today’s forecast predicts a high chance of eating and partying at Patchogue’s Alive After Five, not rain.
Earlier this week, there were some concerns of rainfall, but the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce–which runs the street fair– confirms Thursday, Aug. 2, is still a go.
“The sun is shining here in Patchogue and Alive After Five is on for tonight!” writes the chamber on Facebook.
According to the National Weather Service, this afternoon will remain mostly sunny, around 85 degrees. As the night progresses, temperatures will fall to as low as 75 degrees and will remain partly cloudy.
Chances of rain aren’t expected until Friday.
