American Ballet Theatre makes full company debut on Long Island March 4


American Ballet Theatre is getting set for its first-ever full company appearance on Long Island, at the 2023 Staller Center Gala in Stony Brook.

“This thrilling evening of dance” is set for March 4 at 7 p.m., according to the Staller Center.

“Widely recognized as one of the most outstanding dance companies in the world, American Ballet Theatre remains unparalleled in size, scope, and outreach,” a press announcement reads.

A national treasure since its 1940 inception, the company performs before more than 300,000 people nationwide each year. Over 80 years, it’s appeared in all 50 states and 45 countries.

“In recognition of its storied history, incredible depth, and high-caliber quality, Congress declared American Ballet Theatre as America’s National Ballet Company on April 27, 2006,” according to Staller Center.
