2020 wasn’t all so bad for one Long Island woman who struck it big.
Laura Florissant of Amityville won $10 million after purchasing a winning Black Titanium scratch-off ticket from a Quick Chek on Sunrise Highway in Copiague. The ticket was purchased on Sept. 28.
“Winning the Lottery feels amazing, I feel like I’m dreaming,” Florissant said. “I plan to buy a new house and take care of my family.”
Afte required withholdings, her prize is a one-time lump sum payment totaling $6,718,000.
As of now, there is one outstanding top prize available on the $10,000,000 Black Titanium ticket.
