At Off Key Tikki, the ‘hot, crazy and strange world of the graveyard shift’

|

The Twisted Circus and Cabaret has been offering a variety of live entertainment in Patchogue since March.

The acts range from magic to burlesque to fire shows.

And starting Thursday, Jan. 24, at Off Key Tikki, the entertainment company will be hosting a new monthly show called “The Night Shift” that will run for three months.

“It is a fun, mixed, late night-themed variety show,” said the event’s organizer and magician, Rob Romeo.

During the show, which runs from 9:30 p.m. to midnight, anything goes, says Romeo.

“This show is dedicated to the hot, crazy and strange world of the graveyard shift, delivered in prime time for your twisted pleasure,” reads the Twisted Circus’ Facebook post.

Some of that graveyard fun includes jazz music, drag performers, strip tease, a fire show, magic, and singing.

“Nobody out here in [Suffolk County] is really doing this,” said Romeo. “People that come to the shows are often happy at what they see and come back.”

The event will be running for three months on the last Thursday of each month.

It’s $10 for admission. Off Key Tikki is located at 31 Baker Place.
