An AutoZone auto parts store opened in the William Floyd Plaza in Shirley, replacing the former Lucille Roberts.
A woman who identified herself as the store manager said the site, located at 349 William Floyd Pkwy., next to Leslie’s Pool Supplies, opened on Sunday and that the store was hiring.
She directed further questions to AutoZone corporate headquarters.
The location has been under construction since January.
