Babylon School District, residents and elected officials met to discuss important educational matters

Having an open line of communication is important, especially in a school district.

That’s why Babylon School District hosted its third annual Legislative Advocacy Workshop and Community Summit on Friday, March 2.

In the meeting, representatives from the Babylon district got the opportunity to discuss important educational matters with residents and local elected officials.

“Superintendent of schools Linda Rozzi gave a warm welcoming address to all in attendance, thanking them for their continued support of Babylon’s multiple initiatives geared toward enhancing the school and community as a whole,” reads statement from district administrators..

Some of the items talked about included program funding and the 2018-19 school budget.
