The Village of Babylon announced its reopening Argyle Park and Southards Park on Friday, May 1.
The popular village parks were closed by Mayor Ralph Scordino in early April to promote the state’s stay-at-home order.
While the grounds are open to the public, the village is urging parkgoers to “act responsibly” by wearing facial covers and practice social distancing, village officials said in a Facebook post.
