Less than three months after The Linwood Restaurant & Cocktails opened in downtown Bay Shore, the restaurant has announced it’s now open for lunch.
Co-owner Drew Dvorkin said the Linwood team wanted to make sure dinner service was running “as smoothly as possible” before extending the hours.
And there’s also new lunchtime menu items you won’t find at dinnertime, such as the Lobster Melt, Fried Chicken Sandwich and Salmon Salad Tartine.
“We don’t normally have a sandwiches on our menu, other than the burger, but for lunch we feature a bunch of sandwiches, pastas, salads,” he said.
The lunch hours are Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m to 3 p.m.
He also deemed the Linwood’s first summer on East Main Street a success.
“The first couple months have been amazing,” he said. “We’ve been embraced by the community, and have been incredibility well received.”
