The Bayport-Blue Point Chamber of Commerce is celebrating 28 years of its huge and quite popular St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Montauk Highway.
The parade starts at 11 a.m. at the corner Snedecor Avenue and Montauk Highway in Bayport ends at Blue Point Avenue in Blue Point.
This year’s Grand Marshal is community member Walter Ramsey.
“Walter has participated in the efforts since Day 1, working endlessly to make the annual Bayport-Blue Point St. Patrick’s Day Parade amazing and entertaining by being our only Master of Ceremonies,” according to a chamber event listing.
