Black Pearl Seafood Chophouse & Bar — the latest waterfront restaurant at Danfords Hotel & Marina in Port Jefferson — is set to open by Mother’s Day weekend.
Operated by Top Flight Hospitality Group, Black Pearl is taking over the ground-floor dining space at the hotel, replacing the former Ferryman’s Grille.
The year-round restaurant will feature indoor and outdoor seating with direct views of Port Jefferson Harbor. The menu includes seafood, premium steaks and pasta dishes. The bar will offer more than 100 varieties of bourbons, scotches and tequilas, in addition to signature cocktails.
Top Flight already operates all the Tiki Joe’s restaurants and bars on Long Island, spanning from Hampton Bays to Bay Shore. The group also operates Windamere in Mattituck, Kasey’s Rooftop in Rockville Centre, Flo’s Famous Luncheonette in Blue Point, and the catering facility Gatsby on the Ocean in Wantagh.
Additionally, it manages food and drink concessions at Jones Beach and Robert Moses.
The restaurant is also planning live music throughout the summer, according to the company’s announcement.
Black Pearl is offering a Mother’s Day Brunch special for May 11. With seatings from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the meal is $79.95 for adults and $29.95 for children. Reservations for the event can be made here.
