Breeze Airways is expanding again at Long Island MacArthur Airport, announcing new nonstop service to Myrtle Beach beginning May 6.
The airline will operate the route twice weekly — on Wednesdays and Saturdays — using its Airbus A220 aircraft. Tickets are already on sale at flybreeze.com, with introductory fares starting at $69, airport officials said.
“Breeze Airways continues to grow at Islip’s MacArthur Airport to the delight of both Long Island residents and visitors enjoying our legendary convenience as they explore our beautiful region and connect with family and friends,” Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter said in a statement. “Our local community and loyal ISP travelers have been asking for more service to Myrtle Beach, and we’re grateful Breeze Airways has recognized another opportunity to serve our customers.”
Breeze has steadily expanded its presence at the Town-owned airport since completing its FAA certification runs at ISP in early 2021, the announcement reads. The carrier launched commercial service from MacArthur in February 2022 with nonstop flights to Charleston, S.C., and Norfolk, Va.

When the Myrtle Beach flights begin in 2026, Breeze will offer nine nonstop destinations from ISP. The airline says it has increased its average daily departures and seats at the airport by more than 425 percent and 516 percent since 2022.
“At Long Island MacArthur Airport, one of our goals is to make it easy for airlines to do business and serve customers in the New York region by keeping airline costs low and prioritizing effective marketing initiatives,” said the airport’s commissioner, Rob Schneider. “We’re intentionally making Long Island MacArthur Airport a smart business choice for capacity investment.”
“All ISP Breeze Airways flights are to destinations customers can find on Breeze only at Long Island MacArthur Airport, not at JFK or La Guardia. Other ‘Only At ISP’ features that passengers will enjoy include an excellent customer experience with the convenience of close parking, quick gate access, and an efficient TSA security screening operation,” added Islip Town Councilman John Lorenzo.
Breeze’s nonstop destinations from ISP currently include: Charleston, S.C.; Fort Myers, Fla.; Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Norfolk, Va.; Raleigh-Durham, N.C.; Richmond, Va.; Sarasota, Fla.; Vero Beach, Fla.; and Wilmington, N.C.
Breeze Airways, founded by aviation entrepreneur David Neeleman, operates more than 300 routes nationwide and was named the Five Star Best Major Airline in North America for 2026 by the Airline Passenger Experience Association.
